Online Money Making Adverts – They All Work don’t They?

Online marketers

Who goes on facebook? I do just like millions of people around the world, perhaps to have a nose through your newsfeed and see what friends and family are up to, or see whos advertising what’s going on in their private lives through public status’s, Oh come on you know you all like to read them!

Now What I am finding really annoying is the constant online money making adverts that consistently interrupt my newsfeed every five minutes from so-called expert marketers who have a superb system that they are advertising;

“See how I boosted my earnings to $10000 a week if I can do it So can you!” BLAH BLAH BLAH!!

public online marketing

The only one’s who will get rich of these schemes are the people marketing them as half the time your paying for information that you can research from Google. If all these schemes worked then we could try anything and get rich! They certainly are online money making adverts for the people who make them!

Don’t fall for them people!!!

They don’t work! If they did I would’nt have a website to showcase what does and what is a scam out there.

What Does Work?

So Why should you believe me? Well quite simply you don’t have to, see for yourself that’s what I did and wasted a lot of money over the years and not to mention the time that I cannot get back!

What has worked for me can be counted on one hand:

1. Ebay

2. Amazon

3. Affiliate Marketing

Each one has helped give me a steady income but you have to know what sells.

Ebay

I’ve found eBay buyers like a bargain so give them one! Look to sell wholesale products or products you find from car boot sales or fleamarkets (depending on what side of the pond you are)

The saying “one man’s rubbish is another man’s treasure” is very true.

When I started Ebaying I bought from Charity shops, I resourced designer garments from charity shops in affluent areas as they tend to be better quality and soon built a credible business netting me £400 a week back in 2004. Not a bad return!

Amazon

I never really sold anything on Amazon only bought but that all changed in 2015 when I went on a course to see how fulilment by Amazon worked.

Basically, you ship your stock to an Amazon warehouse and they pick and pack for you and deal with all the logistics. All you have to do is pay hosting fees and keep the stock filled up.

ideally, your best to target a product that you can buy for £5 and sell for £20 to get maximum margins after costs.

I still do this now and it is not a bad little earner. If you want to know more about this I offer a coaching course on how to set up an Amazon FBA business. just comment below and I will get in touch!

Affiliate Marketing

I’ve saved the best to last! Affiliate marketing enables you to promote any product or business that has an affiliate link, Each time a visitor clicks the link and buys a product then you receive a commision.

If you want a further understanding of this industry visits my article; How does Affiliate marketing work. It really is a great online business to have plus there is not massive overheads or you do not hold stock.

  1. It is very important to know what is a scam and what is real. There is no such thing as easy money so hard work is the only way to go even in online business. There are many ways to make money but you need a guide to direct you and there is no better place than WA. Good article.

    1. HI Stratos

It shows that Wealthy Affiliate is extremely popular among online business users and is proven to be a legitimate business and training platform!

  2. Hi Darren,

Thanks a lot for sharing this with us. I love the story about what you did. That makes it trustworthy. I guess we are all being fed up with those marketing slogans. Very interesting idea about Ebay. Though is it scale-able?

I’ve heard a lot about FBA. Does sound like an awesome opportunity. However, I guess I should focus on one thing at a time.

    1. Hi

Amazon FBA is a business in itself and due to them hosting your product and picking and packing it, your product gets priority over private sellers. all prime members searching for a product you are selling will get driven to your listing over a private seller.

with eBay you list in a different way and it is a good idea to drop your asking price in order to get up the list and once this is achieved put your price up. This strategy works very well when combined with strong keywords in your titles.

  3. Hey Darren, thanks for the review! I absolutely agree with you and on the best ways to make money. I personally chose Weahlty Affiliate and never regretted this decision. They offer so much for the little price you have to pay in return and as you said, all is under one roof, which makes everything so much easier.

    1. Hi Nathalie

Yes, it is a good platform to use to host any online business that’s for sure! I also advise that it is ideal for web hosting businesses as you get the 25 domains, hosted and protected that are all in the subscription plus a further 25 free!

  4. Personally I don’t get those adds because I haven’t got a cookie saying I look at that, but I see it everywhere else and wouldn’t touch them with a 10 foot pole.

Would you consider Etsy on your list of what works?

    1. HI Stewart

Yes I would consider Etsy, I haven’t listed it as I have never tried it only for the fact I have not had the time to spare but I will certainly take a look,

      Darren

  5. Some great suggestions in your article, thank you. I was an eBay seller for many years but eventually, I became fed up with their greedy fees. I think they should change their name to Greedbay lol.
These days I too am an affiliate marketer with WA. The training is second to none and it’s great for anyone from beginners to advanced. There’s no need for cheesy facebook ads either if you are properly trained in how to generate traffic to your site organically.

    1. Hi Helen

Yes, I’m with you there, eBay fees and PayPal fees on top combined with free posting to take into account on your markups! I rarely list on there now but promote their products through bookmarklet which is an eBay affiliate partners program, If you’re in WA Helen check my training out, all comments welcome as well lol. click here this will take you straight through to my training on Wealthy Affiliate.

I just wish people would see that this platform would give them the business opportunity they desire!
